EZNPC Where to Level Fast in Diablo 4 Season 12 1 to 60 Guide - EmberPhoenix - 13.03.2026

Season 12's 1–60 sprint is way quicker than most people expect, and a lot of the "old" habits just slow you down. Before you even load in, set yourself up to move fast and hit hard, because time spent fighting trash is time you're not cashing in on quest XP. If you're the type who likes to smooth out those early bumps with a bit of trading, grabbing cheapest Diablo 4 Gold can help you keep repairs, rerolls, and basic upgrades rolling without breaking your pace.
Difficulty and campaign choices
Don't crank the difficulty on a fresh seasonal character. Normal is the play while your kit's still thin and you're missing points. You want stuff dying in a tap or two. Also, make sure you're on the Seasonal Realm and don't skip the Vessel of Hatred campaign at character select. Act VII quest chains dump XP on you in big chunks, and it's way more consistent than wandering around hoping events line up. One more tiny thing: equip your pet the moment you can. Not stopping for gold and mats sounds minor, but over a three-hour push it's huge.
Run it like a speedrun
Do the first seasonal steps just long enough to open the Reputation Board, then lock in on the expansion story. Treat everything else like scenery. If the objective doesn't say "kill," you keep running. If mobs body-block you, dodge through and go. You'll feel a bit rude sprinting past packs, but you'll also watch your level jump faster than any open-world loop. Subo is the merc I'd pick for this stretch because his marks cut down the "where the heck is it?" moments, especially in those jungle paths that love to twist back on themselves.
Quick power spikes that actually matter
At level 10, hit the Blacksmith and start tempering. It's not "min-max," it's just practical: movement speed on boots, extra damage on your weapon, and anything that keeps fights short. Keep an elixir up nonstop for the 5% XP boost; it's basically free XP for doing what you're already doing. Once you're around level 45, add an incense for another 5% and you'll notice the bar moving again even if the story pace slows a bit.
Skip the slow finale and finish in endgame zones
When the campaign tells you to meet Prava at Lorath's old hut, stop. That's the moment. Back out to character select and hit Skip Campaign, and you dodge the cinematic-heavy stretch that doesn't pay you back in leveling speed. From there, rotate clean, simple XP sources: Helltides when they're up, Strongholds if you want predictable clears, and Kurast Undercity when you feel like chaining dense pulls. By the time you ding 60, you're ready to start hunting Ancestrals and assembling a real build, and if you prefer topping up currency or snagging items fast, eznpc fits neatly into that routine without forcing you to derail your grind.
