I came into 3.28 Mirage thinking I'd just tighten up my Atlas and stop once my stash looked healthy, but the league has this weird way of snowballing if you commit. One strong Replica or a high-demand alternate-quality-type payout can beat hours of "normal" mapping. It's swingy, sure, but the swings are the whole reason you're there.
3) Treat Mirage like a streak game, not a speed test
The Mirage mechanic rewards you for staying in motion, but it's not just raw clear speed. It's the chain. Rewards ramp up when you keep completing maps without constantly stopping to trade, craft, or fiddle with gear. You'll feel the difference once you hit that comfortable streak range and the drops start looking "wrong" in the best way. I used a fast, low-friction mapper (Tornado Shot felt natural), and I forced myself to play like I was on a timer. Finish map, stash fast, next map. If I needed to reset, I'd do it cleanly and get right back into the groove.
