So yeah, I think way too many people are griefing their own progress with Globa Steppa. I tested it across a few long sessions, and the raw money is insane, but only if your base isn't paper. I've been getting some stuff through U4GM before big grind nights since it's quick and I hate wasting a whole evening on bad RNG, and when I wanted this specific one I ended up using U4GM Steal a Brainrot just to skip the dead time. But here's my actual take: buying it the second you hit 3b is a bait move.
Why people keep throwing with it
Look, the number everybody hypes is 27.5 million per second, and yeah, that's cracked. For late-game rebirth spam it absolutely slaps. The problem is people see "Secret" and lose their minds, then drop the full 3 billion with no backup cash. I saw two players do this yesterday and both got farmed because their layout was still mid. One had it basically next to the entrance. Free steal. If you can't afford walls, traps, and at least some nasty anti-rush setup right after placing it, don't buy it yet. Ngl I'd rather wait until 3.5b or even 4b than turn my whole run into loot for somebody with a Speed Coil.

I've been using a defensive-first setup and it feels way better than the greedy open-base style most people copy. Thing is, Globa Steppa paints a target on your head the second it shows on the board. So I stick it in the deepest part of the base, then stack slowdown and damage around the path in. Beehive helps a ton, and Sentry Turrets still do work if you place them where thieves have to commit. And yeah, the money from Steppa makes mobility buys way more useful. Speed Coil and Gravity Coil aren't just meme pickups when you're trying to patrol and react fast. I haven't tested every Secret-on-Secret combo yet, so maybe there's some hidden synergy people haven't figured out, but for normal defense? Positioning matters way more than flex value.
